Lebanon Rugby was formed in 2009. Since then, Lebanon Rugby has gained full membership of Asia Rugby, and importantly become the governing body over all rugby activities in the Lebanese Republic through registration with the Lebanese Ministry of Youth and Sport. Lebanon Rugby qualified for Associate Membership of World Rugby in 2018. The development of rugby in Lebanon is our key focus. Our Strategic Plan was developed in consultation with a wide range of Lebanon Rugby stakeholders, including players from a wide range of backgrounds, coaches, members of the Administrative Board and Advisory Committee, school participants, sponsors, donors, expatriate players and Lebanon Rugby staff and volunteers. This Strategic plan will see Lebanon Rugby operate under a single and unified direction, with all parts working towards achieving common targets. This plan will promote participation across the three divisions of the game, Men’s Rugby, Women’s Rugby, and Junior Rugby. Additionally, it will position Lebanon Rugby on a sound financial platform to invest in driving growth in participation, fan engagement and success for our national teams.
